Also the resolution jumps from "hey, look how well it resolves these details" to "what? that micro cobweb was NOT there, i assure you!!"
This is with the dfa 50 macro, PSR on
...and this is an enlargement of above (and yes I can really assure you, that cobweb was not to be seen with the naked eye! :D)

New to the K1, having jumped directly from a (much used and beloved) K20 :D
What the K1 can do is turn back the FA 20-35 to a very fine and light UWA :)
Its high ISO capabilities and great SR made it great fun to use hand held in this dark gorge :)
The 43 becomes a wide enough landscape lens :)
The 77 gets as wide as the 50 was on aps-c - so now I have a gem of a lens for one of my favorite FOVs
Its insane ISO and great SR make the A*300 so EASY to use (it was a challenge on the K20 at times!). Also with the big, bright viewfinder and the much more precise AF confirmation, I don't need the split screen any more
DR is also almost limitless
and the Astrotracer is just so easy to use. Thi is my 1st attempt at stars |
