How to Shop at a Used Camera Store

I went to my (only) local camera shop that sells mostly used stuff to pick up a couple of yellow filters as I'm getting into B&W film. They sell filters for $2 each and I've picked up some very nice Hoya and Tiffen filters the last few days. Well, digging through the "52mm box" after work today I found a black pouch with "Hoya" on it. It was a macro filter set that sells on Amazon for $35 and I picked it up for $5. It's like new. The filters were still in the plastic bags and the rings are perfect. I've learned you really have to get down and dirty and to digging around these shops. Look way on the back of shelves and move stuff around. It's the little stuff that gets overlooked. This is the same shop where I found my Manfrotto tabletop tripod for $25. The people that work there don't know every little thing that's there cause maybe they were off the day something came in.
