Item Description
I bought this lens from a forum member in mid 2013 and lovingly used it for two years. When I eventually sold off my Pentax system to move to Nikon FF, I didn't sell this lens, keeping it in its box- you know, just in case I ever changed my mind. It's been here with me for two years without a camera to put it on, and I think it's finally time to let someone else enjoy it (though I would have loved to see this lens on the K1).
Awesome lens in awesome conditions - comes with lens hood, box, and papers.
You can see some small amount of dust when you put the lens up to light (see photo). I'm not completely sure whether this is internal or external (you really have to look for it and it does not affect image quality), I feel compelled to report for sake of full disclosure and OCD. If you are troubled by this, I encourage you to take your best brand new lens and try the same thing :) Aperture blades are just fine, and the lens and hood really are pristine.
I have uploaded some raw files taken with this lens on my K5IIs so you can pixel peep as you wish, though honestly, it's the character of this lens that I fell in love with (I wound up printing some photos where I've missed critical focus for customers because it just looked so good that it didn't matter; the 'feeling' was there).
