Brush or roller for painting on woodchip?

A couple of coats of a primer/sealer should be applied before the topcoat. Paint rollers come with different Nap thicknesses. Standard sheetrock is normally painted with a 3/8 Nap roller. Textured and rough surfaces (like chipboard) call for a thicker Nap. You can use a brush if you choose and you may have to brush anyhow to fill in places where the paint didn't cover. Painted chipboard rarely looks good and often looks better in it's natural state, which give a room a warm "redneck" look.
