Still available: Two film packages, the SMC-A 50mm f/2, the Albinar 80-200 f/3.9 constant aperature, and the Tamron 28 f/2.8 with hood.

See the link to peruse film packages:

Picasa Web Albums - Jay - pentax_sale

Film package 1: Pentax ZX-L with SMC FA 28-90mm f/3.5-5.6, and case, almost mint $90
This comes with a brand new side-carry case, new FA 28-90 AF lens, and is near-mint. I've shot real B&W with this, and it gives me that gorgeous "Life Magazine" look that de-saturized digital images still can't match. Great modern film camera - controls are very similar to my K100D. Comes with 2 rolls of new film: Ilford FP4-Plus ISO 125 Black & White, and Fujicolor Superia REALA ISO 100.

Film package 2: Two film cameras including flashes and 50mm f/2's: $120
Pentax A3000 with A 50 f/2 and Pentax AF200SA flash
Pentax MG with M 50 f/2, strap, and Vivitar Zoom Thristor 3500 flash

Included in this package (make sure you check out Picasaweb photos to see everything):

- Pentax MG operator's manual, Vivitar flash manual

PM replied cindaaalynnn.

Everyone's lens should be shipped this afternoon, except the 50-200 may not go out until tomorrow. I'll email any tracking info they give me to everyone so you can track the lens to your door.

Thanks so far to everyone who responded.

Price reduced on the SMC DA 50-200!, and the price on that one and the DA 18-55 now also include shipping in the continental US (Outside of US, buyer pays shipping.)

So you could pick up the 50-200! It's said to be optically superior to the 75-300, although they seemed to be about equally good to me.

I remember the day I got it - went out to take a test shot of a stop sign on the corner, and I could see individual snowflakes caught in the focal plane of the sign. I realized that I wasn't in point & shoot land anymore :)

It's the silver. It really is a steal, because it's basically new. The FA J 75-300 is optically quite good, but people don't like it's plasticky feel, and that's too bad... I truly like this lens (see my review from a while ago in the review database.)

Oh and by the way - too late on the LBA. You already have it if you're here :)

:D

You know, I seriously considered it. I see that those bid up to crazy $ levels on Ebay every now and then. I just have not had a good cance to really use it for macro yet - we're in the middle of a cold winter here, and I haven't been able to take any macro shots besides house plants, marbles and bread crusts on the counter. I have to at least spend a summer with it before I let it go.

Plus, I went through so much hassle to land it (driving 150 miles to pay the guy cash, etc.)

You have good taste, though. Keep the dream alive :)

Just when you thought you had your LBA finally under control, along comes this. (I'm truly sorry) :)

All of the lenses below have no fungus, element scratches, or broken parts of any sort. They are all in generally excellent condition, or I wouldn't have bought them in the first place.

None of the prices include shipping - shipping will be extra. In the case of the Viv Series 1 and the DA lenses, and maybe others, I'm going to suggest shipping insurance also.

Pictures of everything below will soon appear in a Picasa web album, and I'll post the link here, so you'll be able to see photos of everything. Serious buyers can feel free to ask me to take close ups of anything you'd like to see in more detail and I'll post them there.

Update: Below is a link to photos of everything - sorry for the lack of organization, but the captions tell you what's what. Let me know if you need any more info on anything:

Update II: make sure you check out the film packages, I think they're actually very good deals and I made sure they were priced cheaper than what it would take to put them together buying separately from ebay. Close focus macro lens set, many Cokin filters, diffusers, polarizers, PC sync cables, meters.
There's a near-mint SMC FA 28-90mm AF in oackage 1, and two 50mm's (M & A f/2) in package 2 if you still have that lens urge :^)

OK, here we go.

Film Packages!

Film package 1: Pentax ZX-L with SMC FA 28-90mm f/3.5-5.6, and case, almost mint $90
This comes with a brand new side-carry case, new FA 28-90 AF lens, and is near-mint.

* Note on the second film package: I've played with the MG and A3000, but have not shot any film with them. I was told that everything works fine by the very nice older gentleman who sold me the cameras, but I can't verify. You will be refunded (sans shipping) if they do not work as advertised. I will not knowingly sell anyone crap :^)

MF Lenses!

Tamron 28mm f/2.8 BBAR multicoated with hood and leather case $35
Solidly built 28mm in good shape. Nice looking Tamron, and comes with a cool 52mm square hood.

Albinor ADG MC 80-200 f/3.9 constant aperture with leather case $40
I liked this lens - the constant f/3.9 out to 200mm is *very handy in low light.

SMC A 50 f/1.7 SOLD $60
This is rated #7 of the top 50mm's ever made by this guy :
The Online Photographer: Great 50mm lenses

Super sharp, as you probably know. This is extremely hard to let go of, but I have Seven 50mms!?!

SMC A 50 f/2 SOLD $35
Geat shape, 'A' setting is handy. Stopped down, this lens is quite sharp, and not bad wide open. Nice to own a fast prime to get those blur-free low light shots.

Takumar 135mm f/2.5 SOLD $40
A classic low-light telephoto. This is a light, stylish little lens that has captured a lot of low-light photos of my little guy from across the room. Very fun lens. 135 manual primes are just so fun to shoot, in my opinion.

Vivitar A 75-300 f/4.5-5.6 in box SOLD $45
Sharp, solidly built, and surprisingly good at 300mm. Comes in original box with instruction book. I bought this after taking a few hand-held shots at 300mm on my K100D and being very impressed. 'A' setting is always nice.

Albinor ADG 135 f/2.8 Macro Focus in case SOLD $30
Nice lens, I just have too many 135mm's. Got this after I had my others, and I've only used it a few times.

Vivitar Series 1 70-210 f/2.8-4 A 3rd edition SOLD to a very quick guy :) $175

Ok, this was tough. This is the semi-legendary 3rd edition (Komine) of the Series-1 70-210, and it's near-mint, a pretty rare find, especially in this condition. The Vivitar Series 1 70-210 came in 5 original editions - the first three were the best, and the third the sharpest of those three.

Quote From Mark Robinson's excellent overview of this series:

This lens has the 'A' setting.

Here's the link to the full overview, including Modern Photography's resolution tests:
Vivitar 70-210 Series 1 Macro Zooms - Mark Roberts Photography

(I'm keeping my Series 1 Vivitar (Kiron) 105mm f2.5 1-1 macro, just so I can stay in that Series-1 goodness :)

AF Lenses!

SMC DA 50-200 includes hood and original box Sale Pending $145 shipped
Purchased in Dec '07, this lens has been used very little and is basically mint. Probably one of the lightest high-quality long zooms you can get for Pentax. B&H has this for $229, and I don't think you'd be able to tell the difference between a brand new lens and this one.

SMC DA 18-55 includes hood and original box SOLD $50 shipped
Purchased in Dec '07, been on the camera about 15 times, basically mint.

SMC FA J 75-300 includes original box SOLD $80
Purchased in Dec '07, been used very little, basically mint. Works better with a teleconverter than my brand new Tamron 18-250. I really want to keep this lens, but will probably rarely use it now that I have my Tamron.
