Oh yeah, I know the area and have driven that route several times (as a lot of tourists have). But not on this trip! We got as close as Inverness on the way west, and on the return went through Fort William.

Thanks rondec! Put this high on your bucket list, the scenery is first rate. Driving can be pretty hairy though. :)

Here are a few shots from a day spent touring around, exploring the towns of Diabaig and Gairloch.
The small village of Diabaig on the west coast of Scotland. This town is pretty remote and the only road to it is pretty wild.
