Ricoh has always been a small player in the camera market. That doesn't matter much (if you get what you want few care about company size)
I still think it's a bit late for any big push (5-7 years ago the time has now passed esp with the industry in decline)
Pentax will carry on no doubt, but I think if we're honest they have no chance v the top 2 makers, and are unlikely to even manage no. 3 spot

I could be interested at some point, but the price is going to have to come down a bit.
Give it 6 months and at £800 odd it could tempt a few

Most clients won't care what make you use, but what you produce.
Saying that, I see the K-3 more for sports/wildlife shooters than Wedding/Portrait ones.
24mp isn't needed for that type of work, nor do you need some of the other stuff.
I think the K-3 is a nice body, if you need what it offers.
I'd also add I don't think FF is a requirement for wedding/portraits either, but it would be useful for K mount to have something here
