Wish I had a house in a forest... Well, OTOH, I do have a honkin' big tree growing in our parking lot that some birds visit.
Edit: On second thought, I'm probably closer to 'nature' than most people. A 10 minutes' walk takes me to a Heron nest near a neighbour village, 10 minutes more and I'm in proper woods. Not counting random tree pockets along the river and fields.
But on the scale of things around here, that's not such a small distance.

Where do all of you get your lenses?! The longest ones available *at all* over here are 300mm primes and xx-300 zooms. Unless looking at 400/6.3s or 500/8s, but those don't seem to be used much for the amazing shots here and elsewhere.
I would even have to order the Bigma from some other country... :(

Does anybody here use m42 TC's? I might be getting either a Tair 3 or SMC Tak 300/4 and would like to extend the reach a bit sometimes. Or maybe I'll find a K-mount 300/4 if it simplifies TC selection.

Off topic a bit: I just noticed that, while the lack of long glass is mentioned everywhere, this thread is still the longest (no pun intended ;) ) of all the Clubs.
