If you read his posts on photography they actually make a lot of sense. Unfortunately most people just read his gear reviews because everything in photography is all about gear and more gear. His gear reviews aren't that bad either. At least his reviews are blunt...and sometimes ridiculous...but that's coming from somebody who actually OWNS the gear and not just borrowed. When you spent money on something, you can say whatever you want even if it means offending the rabid fanbois.
