I'm waiting now for the 3rd (!!!) copy of this lens. If it comes to me decentered I'll resign for it at all. It is too expensive to accept such poor tolerance in quality. My da18-55 is better from this point of view :-P BTW I'm starting to think about switching to m43, honestly speaking I use my wife's OM-D + mz12-40 much more frequently than Pentax... this fast zoom from Olympus is almost perfect piece of glass...

Beautiful pics... you are lucky with the da16-85, I have tried two times to buy it, but each time I faced decentred lens. Should I go for the 3rd attempt? It becomes boring :-P

Well... I have to confess I feel my LBA demon has been awaken... have to repeat myself loudly "I really don't need it" :-D
It seems finally we have got very nice all-around horse from Pentax Ricoh stable... hope that quality control (I mean problems with decentered lenses) will be improved shortly...

Sad to say, but in many places in internet you can find an info, that this happens (also sample tested by Klaus on photozone was decentered)... it seems that Ricoh has some problems with quality control of this lens

Once you get it check thoroughly if it is free from lens decentered issue... Unfortunately my sample is affected so I'm now packing it and sending back to the shop... :-P
