I think AFC is ideal for sport and OVF gives better real time framing.

Yes, unfortunately the Custom Menu can't do anything about AFC. I have tried selecting either 1 or 2.
The irony is that AFC is suppose to track the action and try to lock focus on moving object before we press the shutter. It is not doing that at all. :o

Fellow Pentaxians, try this; set your k5 to afs and try shooting subjects at various distance swiftly. It will only fire away when your subjects are in focus. Try again under afc mode. The k5 will trigger the shutter the moment you press the shutter. Go for afs and you will have more pictures in focus.
PS. I am using spot focus and single shot mode.
