Great shots, that for sure but bearshots with 200mm...you must have been in a hide or something? I mean, a motherbear (or any large preadator for that matter) with 2 cubs is a good recepy to get mutilated or eaten?

Some very nice work on these last pages, people!
Got out during sunset, unfortunately it went down without a grand finale but I managed to capture this with DA* 16-50 and a ND500: Down by the river |

Rondec, very nice again. I love your distinct style of PP, you can recognise it anywhere.
Thanks, Chuck :)
Actually, it wasn`t that cold, only about -2C with no wind.

Mark LJ: Stunning as usual (I think I`m becoming a fan, lol)
Cabstar: Awesome set!
Darkprince: Very nice autumncolors.
Yesterday I had a special occasiion, I was permitted to visit a dutch air ambulace-base. And luckily (fortunate for me, not for the person who needed it), they had a deployment at the end of the tour. Got some take off shots with the DA* 16-50: Lifeliner II |

Mark, stunning scene (again)!
These dolphins were so close to the boat that my sigma 100-300 was too long... so I switched to the DA*16-50 to get the shot :) Common dolphin |

Last week I was on vacation to the Azores. A nice opportunity to spend some qualitytime with my recent aquired DA* 16-50.
The Azores can display some stunning colors and beautifull light. While it is close to the equator the sunlight allways seems to be of a special quality, rendering gorgeous tones.
While this may look heavily saturated this shot is allmost SOOC, just brought up the shadows a bit and applied a slight S-curve. At the cliffs Lagoa do Negro (the black lake) And the world is round :) Monte Brazil Holyday preview |

Don`t worry, you realize soon that such expensive glass is usually worth almost every penny of it.
I had once the opportunity to test the 60-250 for 1,5 hour in a local zoo. I was so much impressed by it that the owner had to pry it out of my greedy claws :)
BTW: I think your mother has a fine sense for "investments" :)
As for your bag:
Yes, that is a familiar problem. Maybe it`s better to choose a limited and or specific setup before shooting and limit the weight?
