Not exactly camera-stuff but still photograpy related: Bought a camo ECWCS-jacket for birding on cold and moist mornings/days. Wind and waterproof and a removable fleece liner for just €100,- (the jacket was actually warmer than I expected, lol!)

Believe me, 27" will be a relief. And also a curse as you can no longer fool yourself with smaller images :cool:

Yeah, I was pleasantly surprised myself :)
I work with iiyama for some time now, price/quality- wise they are great. Offcourse, Eizo for instance is better but also triples/quadrupples the price.

Yeah, it actually is. It`s the second generation successor of my old monitor, contrast is superb (1:5000 static). Still working on the colors, but I have now a ICCprofile from the manufacturer.

My monitor started acting up, strange artefacts in colortransitions and flickering areas in black parts so I got a new one this morning: iiyama ProLite XB2780HSU |
