Probably a combination of high ISO, misfocus, unstable tripod on soft ground, and really old lens. I was also shooting to JPG instead of raw for the faster write speed.
The Rikenon EE 200mm is an old M42 lens. The Q has become my wildlife camera so the 200mm lens is "permanently" attached.

I forgot how much fun it is to use the Q as a long distance wildlife cam. I wanted to identify this wasp/hornet tending a nest on our house. It turns out it's a non-aggressive European paper wasp, so we're going to leave it alone.Taken with a Tele-Takumar 200mm F5.6. ISO 1600, 1/125, F11. |

I got this image on Flickr's Explore today.
Less is more... by Benjamin Chan, on Flickr
Originally submitted for FlickrFriday's "Less is More" theme. Taken with a Q7 + Kern-Paillard Yvar 36mm f/2.8 AR Visifocus (D-mount). The skeleton looks like a toy, but it's actually a life-size sculpture perched atop a building in my neighborhood. I was across the street shooting it.
