It's a minivan that drove by on one of the frames. I like to get something moving or changing positions with these. As it happened, it was pretty quiet at this time of day.

Wasn't mine. Wow, I thought they were rare, but it seems there were 3 copies on the market. Yes, I like this lens a lot, better than the Pentax 40mm.

A couple months ago I sold my Chinon 45mm F2.8 pancake lens. I immediately regretted that decision. A few days after shipping off that first Chinon pancake I found a second one going for less than what I sold the first one for. Recently, I've been digging non-Pentax early-1980s era K-mount cameras. I managed to score a Chinon CE-4 to go with the Chinon pancake. Here's the last frame from the test roll. |

Pentax KX. Fujifilm Pro 400H.
I haven't been posting here lately since I haven't been shooting much with my 35mm Pentaxes.

I'm sure the flash firing wasn't distracting at all. If he didn't make the shot, at least you got a good one!

I agree. If anything, it needs *more* lightning bolts! ---------- Post added 12-21-17 at 09:07 AM ---------- I had about 20 minutes to kill waiting for my bus, so I decided to walk a few hundred feet to the train station near by. I didn't notice any camera supplies along that wall. I imagine the camera supplies this little shop sold in the past included film, flash cubes, batteries, and maybe some cheap point-and-shoot cameras.

I wish we had more time to explore other neighborhoods in Tallinn. We'll just have to come back.
A couple from the same "hipsterville". Both with Pentax MX + M40mm F2.8 pancake + Kodak Portra 400 (I'm pretty sure I posted these here before). |

They both do E6. I dont' shoot slide film so can't comment on quality of either.
As long as we're tallying points, more points in favor of Citizens: it's shares the building with a Lego store and a liquor store, and is across the street from a bathhouse (not my thing but putting it in the plus column anyway).
In Blue Moon's favor is they're open on weekends while Citizens is not. Plus the shop is an analog dream.

I use Citizens Photo in Portland, Oregon. They're a short detour on my way home from work, so super convenient. They do good work for C41 for good prices. US$3.75 for processing + US$7.50 for high-res scans. They have an upload/download service for no additional charge.
Their BW developing has been inconsistent. I think it's a function of their workload. When they get busy (which is good, right?) they're not so careful cleaning the negatives for scanning and the scanning software doesn't remove the dust particles. I've dropped off both C41 and BW during busy times and I've never noticed quality control issues with the C41 scans. Now that I have access to a community darkroom, I'll probably do my own BW processing.
I have another shop locally, Blue Moon. But they're not as conveniently located and their prices are higher, so double whammy. If they had only one downside I'd use them.

My kid has a Saturday class near the local farmers market. It gives me almost 2 hours to kill to take photos. Both of these are with a Pentax K2, SMC Pentax-M 50mm F1.4, Kodak UltraMax 400.

Fooled the lab tech too since he/she rotated it before sending it to me. They deserve the credit for making this a more interesting photo.

This one is my favorite from that roll. When I got the scans back from the lab, I was thrown off for a second. This wasn't how I remembered the shot.

At the campsite there was this awesome climbing tree. She found this left behind, hidden in the tree.
