I have a bit of winter boredom going on.. not that much natural subjects for photography and my main PC is out due to motherboard issues :(. So time to share some bokeh experiments from last fall that are already on flickr.. Both taken with meyer optik görlitz trioplan 100mm lens.

Aaaahh, how could I have missed this... It's a Erodium plant species, might even be the Erodium cicutarium that grows in the Netherlands as well... :rolleyes: plant mystery solved! And I'll make it a mission to go out and find them around here..for a picture of the seeds..

Nice one! Is your helios 44 in m39 mount? (How many different 44's models are there? not counting the 44-2 or higher -)
From me another picture from a m39 mount helios 44 (chrome/silvery finish and 13 aperture blades)

oh oh, my LBA had kicked in in awaiting the spring... today I could almost hug the postman when he arrived at my door 10 days before I would even start to expect him. With a beautiful chrome m39 helios 44 lens. 13 blades.... I think I'm in love :rolleyes:

Thanks! It's the first version of the macro takumar 50mm f4, preset model that will go 1:1 magnification, even though it can give nice stars sometimes the bokeh is a bit to busy for true macro work but this is the sharpest lens I have ever worked with (and I collected some 8 to 10 macro lenses.. bit of a LBA :o )
