Just starting out, worried about Lens availability.

another vote for K-30 + DA18-135 given what you are going to use it for. The nice thing about primes is that they let much more light in. so you can blur the background and/or use higher shutter speeds. If you want to try primes, go for the SMC PENTAX 50mm f/1.7 in "M" or "A". It is cheap and great quality in every sense
