Well, I will probably never get the chance to try that. I have pretty much sworn off flying by commercial airliners. It has just become too much of a hassle to bother with. I would rather drive for five days to get to where I need to go than fly. i just got tired of overcrowded planes, delays, cancellations, getting bumped etc. Not to mention all the extra security checks I seem to be targeted for. My personal best is being pulled out of line 4 times on one trip. I must be on a terrorist watch list or something.

If you want to send over your private jet to pick me up for a cantina crawl that would be a different matter altogether. I would love to visit those regions of Italy. I'll even pay for the cantina expenses. Over here they offer tours of the various wineries. Some offer a limo to drive you around. This especially popular in the fall. You can combine wine tasting with leaf peeping. Leaf peepers are less likely to get into long drawn out discussions than pixel peepers.

Sadly all my international trips, except one, were for business. The one trip for pleasure was to Germany with my wife to visit with the family of a girl we hosted as an exchange student. We had a great time there.

Now we are doing the pixel peeping equivalent of wines here? Everyone know that there are only three kinds of wine. Red, white and pink and they all taste the same.

How the heck can a wine be dry? It's a liquid for heaven's sake!

On a more serious note, I live near the Finger Lakes region of New York State and everyone knows that all the best wines come from this area. :D

On a much more serious note this is one more post towards the 40K needed this month.

No, but we need to push the post count up to 40,000. We are lagging behind and must try harder.
