+1, this would be more meaningful.
Not to dwell on this, but it also depends on how one measures "percentage" of gear. Is it limited to the important or expensive pieces of gear, like lenses and bodies only, not counting film, or 50 lens caps off of Ebay? Or is it based on the value of each lens, or a count of the number of lenses?
It is well known that the way you ask a question changes the outcome dramatically. OTOH, or maybe for that reason, sometimes pollsters like to leave the question a little vague.
