skierd, thanks for that. I didn't know one put leggings and boots on huskies. I guess it makes sense - I'd want them, too. ---------- Post added 17th Mar 2017 at 08:47 ----------
Arn, that construction vehicle is marked up like a police vehicle in some countries, e.g., UK, New Zealand, etc.

After a 38C/100F day, we finally had rain, glorious rain, this afternoon. The first in a while - and hail to go with it. I had to move the aluminium-bodied Rangie under shelter. We're still getting occasional showers. The trouble is now the humidity at 81%

I was walking along this track last week and these two roos just ignored me as I walked past. I must admit I was keeping a weather eye out for snakes as this location has a lot of them.

My wife planned a boat trip to Antarctica (via Argentina) for us both a few years back but I decided against it because of the cost.

Would I recommend Alice? I've been there a couple of times. I probably wouldn't recommend it. Uluru (Ayers Rock) is impressive but it's a long way from anywhere.
Actually, I could happily live up in Washington state after enjoyed two x 1 month holidays there. But it would only be for their summer! You can keep that s****! Ditto for the South Island of New Zealand.

I wasn't but I see why one would. Actually, I have absolutely no desire to ever go to NYC. It would be the last place on earth that I'd want to visit.

The entrance to a local historic house (Combewood). Taken with an iPhone as I sat at the gate controlling entry of cars on an Open Day.

Nah, I hate hairpins on my bike - especially when descending.

Very good, Rod, to pick a sign that advises one to use Water St to get to the destination.

Aha. It was Tocumwal I went through on my road trip last year. I stopped and took a pic of this bridge just up from the highway bridge. If the newer highway bridge was closed, that was a lot of water.

Rod, I see from your Flickr pages that thos floods are recent/current.
I've been over that bridge (on your Flicker pages) over the Murray River at Cobram - there's a lot of water going under it.
Edit: maybe I'm mixing it up with another. I can't find a pic of it in my bridge collection.

When I first saw it, I thought "What a stupid place to park a truck - on the wrong side of the road and on a blind corner!"
Then I remembered you blokes drive on the wrong side of the road. :o
