Personally, I don't understand the passion some have for any sport. I watch none at all and neither do my my kids. I guess it comes from us all, wife included, of being brought up in homes where sport was not watched nor a subject of interest.
I once told my son that if he wanted to play football (any code), I would not take him to frames or training, he'd have to get there himself. I never played any sport at school.
But I don't understand American football either. There seems to be a lot of wasted time on the field and too much body armour.
We record the news so we can fast forward through adverts, rubbish, and sport. It cuts the 1 hour news program down to 20 minutes. :D
