Yesterday's northern lights! One milkyway as well even though there were a lot light pollution in that place.
All taken with K-1 + Sigma 18-35/1.8, from 24 to 28mm, aperture mostly f/1.8-2.5, ISOs from 200 to 6400.
And the milkyway (ISO 6400)

Couple of more photos from last time shooting stars and northern lights..
Again, all photos taken with K-1 + Sigma 18-35/1.8 at 26mm, f/2, 10-15s exposure and ISOs from 400 to 1600.

Aurora season has begun! Couple of quickly edited shots from last nit (location was northern Finland)
I was suprised how well the Sigma 18-35/1.8 worked in FF-mode in these shots..

I bought the Tamron 70-200/2.8 just for portraits and weddings but oh well, one can take good wildlife photos with it as well ;)
1/800s, f/3.2, 140mm and ISO 1600.. look the IQ!

It's been awhile since my latest post here, this is one of the latest photos taken with K-1 (objective was Sigma 18-35/1.8 in FF-mode). Some fog in the forest and noctilucent clouds as well as normal clouds too in the sky.

I shot weddings last weekend within K-1 and K-5, didn't actually use K-5 that much (K-1 900 photos and with K-5 only 200) and I'm very impressed of K-1, it's beyond words! Some photos, taken with DA*55 and DA* 60-250/4. Usually I've been editing wedding photos way too long - somehow didn't need do to it this time, the files from K-1 are very good already without PP.

I've always liked the look of photos taken with M 50/1.7 so I decided to test it a bit with K-1,
^ Usually this kind of photos are taken with apertures from F/10 - F/32 but I tried something other - focused on this three in front within F/2
Then couple photos with DA* 60-250/4 in FF-mode

A few shots from yesterday - all photos taken in handheld and in FF-mode, mainly with DA* 60-250/4 but there are some photos within Sigma's 18-35/1.8 as well.
This ^ one is my favorite photo taken with K-1 so far
This one is taken at 1/3s exposure, handheld.

Latest photos with K-1, taken with DA* 60-250/4 unless I say something else.
This one is taken with Sigma 18-35/1.8 in 21mm (FF-mode) or something, cropped a bit

Some DA*55/1.4 shots, all in FF mode within hood and vignetting isn't any problem. Full EXIFs and bigger photos from here: Ihmiset
This one is pixel shifted - I used F/1.6 and one can clearly see increased detail and IQ! She is my little sister.

A bit PP in LR - mainly adjusting exposure and contrast as well sharpening.
