i think it looks fine the way it is. a full frontal shot of a sunflower dead center. but if the flower was turned on an angle (sideviewish) then id (personally) include some more blue as it would give some space for where the flower can "look" at, kind of like in portraits.
as for the crop i wasnt raggin on the quality, im just saying that when you shoot try not to include soo much blue to begin with as its kind of like deadspace unless thats the effect you are going for. for me ive wasted tons of film shooting subjects with too much background and when youre shooting film it gets frustrating and expensive. what you see in your viewfinder should be close to or your final image of what you see in your head :).
if im saying something wrong someone correct me as ive only been shooting for a year and a bit.

ive read that the more you crop the quality of your image goes down. so for me i try to shoot without croping by moving closer or zooming if i have a zoom lens on me. once you get the hang of post processing then you can really bump the sharpness and colours (fun part)
