I was at the park taking some shots of my dog. Live view was off. Sort of bummed right now, but at least it's not a major issue.

Mine locked up twice again the other day shooting manual focus. I'll be sending this to pentax shortly.

Thanks but not shooting burst shots. The problem isn't that it stopped shooting, it stopped responding altogether. On/off switch too. I've loaded up the buffer many times before though and have never had this issue.

Sorry I forgot to mention, but yes. Was following some bees when I noticed it had stopped responding. Also the battery had literally just come out of the charger. Maybe 15 shots were taken before it locked.

Well to add one more to the pot without starting another thread, my K-5 locked up twice in the last two days. Both times in TaV mode shooting with the D FA 100mm. I've used almost nothing but this lens and this is the first time I've had this issue. Both time I needed to remove the battery to fix it.
