Ah good fun!
I remember those SV's being good fun.
You'll find someone developing film. Hipsters are still hanging out it seems. I was surprised i can get it developed here in Melbourne Aus, actually have x4 mail in options, so confident you will be fine :)
Have fun!

I had fun with a Super Tak, 28mm f3.5 on my K5 the other day. Bright sunny day, morning in the snow, little bit of flare but makes it fun :) |

In contrast to that lovely bright image above, I’ve had the pleasure of using a SMC 28mm f3.5 alongside a slightly newer DA35mm on my K5 on travels up some hills.
I had forgot how charming the reduced contrast from the Takumars is. It really is a charming olden day look upon the world. Not soft, just a flatter image maybe next to the hyper performer that is the DA35, and that’s lovely. I’m going to really enjoy the next couple of weeks with these little tools in hand :)
I’ll put a hood on it later just for giggles and see how close I can get it to the 35. Not that it’s about that, but still. :)

Ah flare indeed!
I took my flare maker, captain flares a lot, the dust filled, paint abused 55 f1.8 out to play silly buggers with my favourite 4 wheeled toy at the moment, and once you pull the levels in I was reminded how useful it is.
s125, f4, iso100, K5
s125, f4, iso100, K5
s180, f5.6, iso400, K5
Nice to have the SuperTaks back to play with :)
Also buy a Commodore, they are still fun :P

I had a mild amount of fun with this one.
This was an exercise in stacking, I took about 20 shots with a 135mm f3,5 Super Tak, (@f3.5 and focused to 1.5m) This gave a circle of confusion / depth of about 2cm. I panned across the scene and Viola! (he he musical pun) a faked larger format shot from an imaginary lens.
Same deal with these buildings Click for Melbourne
This time, a 35mm f3.5 Super Tak and only about 8 images. Again, stacking is dumb when it comes to taking pics of things at the horizon. Just get that wider lens!

I had fun with a 24mm Super Tak the other weekend.
For those that claim they don't flare.
Exhibit A) Click
:D
I got lucky though, the warm flare broke up the green and the blue nicely :P Cheers Takumar
Shot at f8 on a K5.

Nice photos everyone :)
I had fun up a hill hiding behind trees with my Tak 24mm f3.5
Mostly left it at f8 as I wasn't exactly sure where they were going to end up. I wish I experimented more with my flash and tried to get some clearer light in there. I think I was at f8, iso200, s=125ish... I wish my flash sync was faster... That could have been f4, iso100, s200ish, and at full power a little AF200T might have got a few meters (all I would have needed)
But alas.. Still fun working within the limitations. |

Surely that's to do with the rear element hitting the mirror. I use the 50mm 1.4 on my K10 without any problems.. I actually have those camera bodies here.. I'll throw the lens on and see what happens
#EDIT. the 50mm 1.4 is actually on the body of the SP :P I can get to infinity fine. My SP has the same colouring as yours. with serial (3953260) "shrugs" Come to think of it i bought the SP because it came with the 50mm 1.4 :P
To be super careful tho. Just measure the distance from the camera thread to the front of the mirror, then compare it to the distance on the lens when its wound right in at infinity.

Can I put my 105mm 2.8 tak in here too?
I took it to the zoo, because I like the zoo, and I was nearly convinced it would be a reasonable zoom lens by the time my crop sensor got in the way. 150mm really wasn't long enough :P
Anyway. Shy Peacock, along with a lovely hairy little sod :p
f was 2.5. The Monkey shot was stupid. should have stopped down a ton! to get any sense to the image. Had enough room with the background being a good 10m+ away. but didnt. ho hum. I just didnt want to miss him hanging around :P
