This might be too simple and unflexible:
Glue the lens to a locking body cap (with a hole in it!)
You'll have to tilt in and out to focus, but at least you can try them out...
This is from this Carousel lens...

I've been watching this tread for a while now...here goes:
Kodak Carousel Isco-Göttingen 100mm - body cap conversion. DSLR body: Sony a230.
As simple as it gets. Lens has fixed distance of about 3 yards. Focusing by leaning to and fro subject...
