Rondec,
Great captures, fantastic colours and very tastefully done hdr. Welcome to the club. I love the details in the corn (?) The buildings in the background and the stump in the first shot. Fantastic composition and good post work.
@jeztastic,
Thank for the words. The fill flash was hard to get right on this day. It was a very bright cloudless spring day at about 2pm. Not the best conditions to try to show some mood. The bear is back light and I'd used a diffused flash to fill the bear. There were some shots with the bear more exposed, but to me they looked wrong because the bear was too harshly lit as the flash was far too close and far too strong even with a small octagonal softbox on it. I may try this concept again when it's more overcast, being in Melbourne won't be too many hours away.

Disco, love the red/orange/brown. That's not the colour cast from the nd filter?
I've tried to do something different here. I've tried to express some sadness with an unusual subject. C/c welcome.

Finally, I'm also a member to this club.
Here's a one from this evening. It was delivered too late to be out during the day today, so I'm really tempted to give work a miss tomorrow, and spend some time with this beauty.
Ubiquitous Melbourne over the yarra shot (minor pp and straighten the verticals in LR)
It's nothing real special, just out trying to get used to the focal length. I think this lens may really help to improve my photograph. Composition is very unforgiving with this wide FL, even a slight movement of the camera makes a huge difference.
