Nah R,
"Disaster" was, as tracking now shows, it wasn't cleared from Ca. (customs?) until 1 week ago. 8 weeks and the parcel was never even opened!!!

Hey Folk,
It seems just having faith in the postal system is enough. The Postie delivered the parcel this morning, just 9 weeks after dispatch.
Mebe it was an earth tremor which held it up but I'll bet we never find out the cause and it don't matter now as we've got the goodies.

Yes, I tried using the e-mail address in the paypal transaction but it was returned as "not valid address"

No, haven't tried Aus. PO and was relying on Ca but can't contact them from this end.
Yes, paid by Paypal but unclear on cash gift aspect.
The last lens I bought from USA just before Xmas and it took 5 weeks+ so I feel this one has had enough time.

I don't post on here very often so not sure I'm in the correct place.
Two months ago I "purchased" a lens from a forum member who seems to have disappeared. I've tried to PM him but no reply and he hasn't shown-up in the users list for some time. I have a tracking # for the lens which shows it leaving Canada but it hasn't arrived in Australia.
Any ideas on where-to from here, please?
