Correct! That's one advantage of the Irix, and it can be calibrated, although it's already made before leaving the factory.
The larger FOV of the 11mm over the 15mm would be interesting too!

Thanks to all for your nice comments...
The hardest part is to keep the focus to infinity, there is a technique to achieve that in manual mode and Live view and a loupe of magnifier, after that you should check the focus from time to time to make sure it did not changed (I put some tape on the focus ring to help).
Also the best is to have the widest/fastest/sharpest lens as possible...
I love the 15mm Irix, but here the 11mm Irix (all FF lenses for K-1), would be an asset...

With my lack of planning and experience for making starscapes, I forgot to take one separate picture of the foreground without the Astrotracer enabled, hence the visible blur, but helped not getting star trails in this near 2-minute exposure. The foreground was "light-painted" with my flashlight.
