Nice portrait!
p.s. I have hard times with most acronyms (still learning)
Just curious, what PBC means ? (I suspect C is for crop, or cropping, but can't figure the other words...)

I was revisiting my photo gallery recently, and thought that I would make the intended pano (12 portrait shots in Lr Pano Merge) from my visit to Ottawa, Canada in June 2017 Colline du Parlement à l'heure bleue / Parliament Hill at the Blue Hour
Better download the full size copy to see the fine details... impressive !

Eleven portrait handheld images were stitched with Lr6 to create this panorama.
Please note the dargonfly on the sand in the lower left corner.
The superb details and the unique starburst effect are courtesy of the SMC Pentax-DA 15mm F4 ED AL Limited lens who still controls my mind...

Been long time I hadn't use my crop sensor gear, and especially the 15 Ltd... I am still impressed by its capabilities and it still controls my mind...
Snow was almost all melt when a snow fall remembered us that Winter had not said its last word on early April.
I also wanted to immortalize this Oak tree that I often see along the road.
This panorama photo is a result of 9 portrait images merged in LR.

Thanks, not sure how I can do that, but maybe i could enhance them in Lr to get both results in one image?

Thanks, it's about 180 degrees...
someone told me today that there are much more than 100K geese... he's an avid birdwatcher, and told me the numbers are more 200 to 300K individuals in peak time!
they are spread all over the river, at night, on about 7-8 Km long...
Just to give you an idea, this Am when they left the river to go in the surrounding corn/alfalfa fields .... we can't see the other side of the river...
(and their poop is "raining" onto us lol)

Thanks you very much guys!
on the second, I had to move pretty fast to find the sun direct to get the starburst... it was dropping at the speed of light!

Thanks, yes the 15LTD make so nice starbursts...
This was made out of 7 vertical shots handheld and merged in Lr6... I am happy that the Lr6 merge kept the nice starburst effet... sometimes it would alter it a bit.

Yes, that's what I do with my 804rc2... but it's not very convenient, I am looking for a better head in that respect... not a ball head though...
Looks like it's seen from the car rear-view mirror ...

Wow Cool! Thanks for taking the time to share your setup...
Now I better understand...
I already have a macro Rail and one cheap chinese panning base... so I could just buy the few missing items to have a similar setup at reasonable cost...
You could maybe also add a body L-Bracket to use your camera on the nodal point but in landscape orientation...
I found that one that is pretty cheap on alixpress : http://www.aliexpress.com/item/MPU105-For-Nikon-D7200-D5200-D810a-D800-D750-...08.0.68.uMPgD4
it really fit the K-1 pretty well...
again, thanks for showing us that!
p.s. I have a Manfrotto 804RC2 but I find it limited to 30 degrees of tilt upward... how do you like your new head ? can it do more than 30 degrees?

Technical/gear question...
I am considering a pano head to help take panoramic pictures, especially with starfields (so pano both vertical and horizontal). I was thinking about the FOTOMATE 360 head... any one has experience or recommandations on a good head, best value for the money ?
thanks
