I hear that there is a precedent for camping along Canal Saint-Martin - although you may not want to send those signals ;)

(I lived in the 12th for 9 years )

You're not going to show off pictures with and off your new family member? I believe that custom is to do cat-portraits, and the DA70 makes for a very good feline portrait lens ;)

The DA40 and DA70 make for a handsome couple, I'm so sure that you'll get a kick out of what you can do with just those two....get out there and shoot :D.

Oh, don't fret. The DA70Ltd is a great lens, and you'll be able to take spectacular photos with it. I have one, and the only reason my photographs are not spectacular is my shortcoming, not the lens ;)

In serious, I actually have both the 77 (MiJ)) and 70. They're both great. They also have different character, either can "do" something that the other can't, and I wouldn't want to let either of them go, nor could I say "I want this, rather than thatone".

In short, be happy with your lens, it's just stellar!

Yet, moleskines do not take fountain pen ink well (in general - there're one or two exceptions), which is already reason to disqualify them....

Heh, I have never been in the army, or any other branch of the military.

My country had (when I was young, back in the stone-ages) the draft...however come my turn, they realized that they did not need any more 5-star generals, and so there was no reason for me to join ;)

( Or, it was the fact that I'd had knee surgery that made them say "disqualified"? I prefer the former explanation, though ....)

But yes, coffee needs to be black....so black that it'd dissolve a spoon. Which is one reason for not using cream & sugar :D

Dunno Fleafly, but he sounds swell.

More to the point, I'm jealous at you - my longest FL is 200mm, and it's occasionally a tad too short. Go play with it, and report back will ya'?

Well, I disagree with you there. I drink it primarily for the caffeine - the fact that it tastes deliciously is bonus.

Coffee must be consumed without distractions to the taste, though, so no cream, sugar, caramel, double-whipped algae-mousse (or whatever the heck the fluffy green stuff I saw a guy order in the local Starbucks was).

Well, the real problem with decaffeinated coffee is not the taste.....it's the fact that there's no caffeine in it.

Decaffeinated coffee makes about as much sense as dehydrated water.

My condolences...DFW is 3rd on my list of "worst airports in the world". Hope you'll survive without feeling too abused.

That sounds neither right nor healthy - you really should see a physician about that ;)

This is going to sound really lame, compared to the lenses and cameras that you guys are acquiring en masse but...amazon delivered my latest photo-widget this morning: a new gray-card & pantone swath patch card, replacing their (worn to shreds) predecessors.....
