The possibility to enable mechanical sr in video would be nice.

Strange. Japan has no import duties on dslr's and a relatively low sales tax. Is this in consistence with other brands?

The Nikon D750 already went from 1950 to 2150 a while ago. So the increase is moderate. Bad news is the price won't drop soon. No new competitors on the market (5d MK IV is too expensive). Maybe if Nikon Introduces a D760 or D820 at photokina we will see some deals on the D750 and D810 forcing Ricoh to respond.

Still €1999 in Holland but some shops in Germany now use €2099. They are probably repricing. Better order soon when you were planning to get one..

They are on the roadmap :p And what about the wide zoom for aps-c that has been on the map for ages? Maybe a plm version of the 18-135.

you need contrast detection for focus peaking. so the mirror must be up and the shutter open. No OVF anymore. So you would need full oled screen in the viewvinder. Attached to the focussing screen or somehow in front of the pentaprism. A Hybrid viewfinder. The first option would cause you to loose a lot of VF brightness:
The second options would probably result in a much bigger pentaprism housing to accomodate the screen and the optics to switch from OVF to EVF.

The Sigma and Tamron 70-300 lenses are full frame and not that big and heavy. On full frame their aberrations will be less obvious...

They should have made the new DAF4.5-6.3 ED PLM WR REfull frame instead of aps-c.

Everybody is raising prices. Not just Pentax. I was already expecting this. The Yen has become more expensive compared to Euro and Dollar.

Nikon announced a few 1" compact zoom camera's (DL 18-50 24-85 and 24-500) they are going the Sony RX way. The camera's were postoned due to the quake. It seems a camera aimed at family shooters and interchangeble, doesn't work.

But since it is a Tamron the production volume is much higher. If Pentax had ordered a thousand a month the price difference with the Tamron version would have been lower.

Those are produced by Tamron in Japan. Pentax lens production is in Vietnam Afaik.

The Q-s1 is now two years old. If we don't see a refreshed Q at photokina, it is dead (Like Nikon 1 is).
