A DSLR will never be as compact as the old slr's simply because of all the electronics that have to be crammed in behind the mirror box. Pentax will not forgo IBIS because they lack stabilized lenses and IBIS is becoming more and more the way to go anyway. i wouldn't be surprised if the Canonikon mirrorless system would have IBIS. It would make it a lot easier to design lenses. Want a compact full frame, then mirrorless is the way to go and right now its Sony and nothing else barring a premium brand like Leica.

It should be up to date. Ricoh is basically using K-3 Technology for everything. That's from 2013. 2019 will have to bring a new generation camera. The K-3 II successor will probably come first and give us an idea.
