When it comes to GM, I always thought the 59 Buick Electra 225 is a particularly pretty car. But then, I'm into old cars - so may not be your cup of tea.
Yes, I see B&H have some pretty good prices on some Manfroto tripods.

As for tripods. I found the cheapest solution that's not bad quality is the Beike range.
