Not tested - but I don't think it will work either
Light fungus - looks like the inside of a tropical diorama

Ah. The "placeholder" listing. (We find them here on Marketplace sometimes too.)
As if e-bay is about to run out of space for new listings.

Must be worth it. It belonged to a "professional photographer from New York"! :)

It's my favourite. A "lense".
But, just for interest sake - even the k-mount version has the "optical stabilizer" switch.

Not what you think they are. :) Those are finger gloves - to aid with fitting the focus screen without leaving oily residue or fingermarks.

Now that you mention it, I'm reminded that I once bought a new Haier dishwasher. Connected it up and used it that first night, only to discover that it did not heat the water. Phoned supplier and they brought another one the next day. That one lasted about a week before dying. Exchanged it for another make which has been fine since.

Nothing mint or "minty" (which seems to be the latest popular description phrase) about something that needs repair.
Next they'll be describing it "as new".

In fairness to the seller, that is, indeed, a "Retrograde Day" watch. You'll notice the hand which indicates day of the week? At the end of the week, the hand returns to the first position to count through the week once again. In horological terms, that "return" function is "retrograde".

Ah, yes, the "lense". The go-to word for anyone who does not know the first thing about photography or English. I think I've mentioned it before in the "pet hates" thread. Don't mind me.

Indeed. Or something like that! Mainly, the proponents for the practice believe that different parts of the iris somehow predict the health of organs in the body. The whole premise has been scientifically disproved thoroughly but it seems some people still believe it.
