Well, I guess I'll be hanging out here more often if I want to visit PF. I've just sold my K5 and several of my lenses. Soon, I'll be MFT only. I have the E-P1 and the OM-D, and I find that I use the OM-D to the exclusion of everything else. I hated to see my nice Pentax kit sit, so I decided to sell it. I'm sure I'll jump back in one day. Anyway, this was my wife's reaction when she found out I would be selling some of my "stuff" (she's the anti-hoarder):
Taken with the OM-D and the Sigma 30mm f/2.8.

I cleaned it up in LR4. But not nearly as much as my E-P1 files. These files are very close to my K5 files (definitely better than my K20D files). I'm very happy with the high ISO image quality, and the overall dynamic range, of the images from the OM-D.
I thought I had some more high ISO samples to post, but I just noticed Flickr's not picking up the EXIF from my shots for some reason. I'll see if I can get some more real world examples.
Bottom line, though, is I set the upper range on my Auto ISO to 6400 (per DPR's recommendation) and I don't feel constrained by that at all. I run the same setting on my K5, so that should tell you something.

I love these little guys! They always pose for you. Taken with the OM-D and the 12-50 kit zoom in macro mode.
And here's a high ISO sample (6400) with the kit zoom in macro mode. |
