One way I've been able to create a stable platform (when needed) is to put my elbows into my side, put the strap around my neck, then pull the camera away from me to tighten the strap. That gives me three points of support.

The DA70 is the only one that's hunted, but even then not that much. They all work very nicely.

Not at the same time! :) I took 50+ shots of the K-01 with the DA15, DA21, DA40 (both flavors), DA70 and SMC-M 50mm mounted. I also compared it side by side with the Olympus E-P1 Pen. Since I took so many shots, I'll just post a few here. You can go see the entire set on Flickr (and see them in full size). Pentax K-01 with DA15, DA21, DA40 and DA70
DA70mm f/2.4 Limited
DA40mm f/2.8 Limited
DA40mm f/2.8 XS
DA21mm f/3.2 Limited (I think this is my favorite look.)
DA15mm f/4.0 Limited
K-01 with DA40XS beside the Olympus Pen E-P1 with M.Zuiko 17mm f/2.8 (their pancake)
K-01 with the Pentax SMC-M 50mm f/1.7 attached next to the Pen with the required adapter
I took many more photos including several angles of each lens, with and without caps and hoods, or hood extended or retracted. Too many to post here, so go look at them at my Flickr set.
