I could go on for a while about the 135mm lenses. I've had a bunch of them, including a $5 Sears version that was fun, especially for the price. I had the SMC-A 135 f/2.8 and loved it, but gave it to my sister when I got her started with Pentax. I then bought a Takumar bayonet 135 f/2.5, but it's pretty soft. Wish I had my old SMC-A back. :)

Anyway, here are a few samples:

First, the $5 Sears lens on the K100D:


Next, the SMC-A on the K100D:




Finally, with the right adapter, you can do this with the Takumar (or any K-mount lens with an aperture ring):


The 2x crop factor of the 4/3 sensor makes the 135 even better as a fast, cheap telephoto prime.
