I really enjoyed my couple of weeks in Doha earlier this year...especially the Souq and the museum...and the people. Just such an interesting place!

Yeah...I haven't worked out how to use this lens (understatement) - I have seen others get good shots out of them.
That shot was actually taken at 1.2...exif says 1.4.

Yes, Pardon my misspelling! I did mean Booroomba Rocks. I am terrified of heights but managed to abseil it - reason to celebrate (it was a '72 we drank). I did one other major descent, Kanangra Falls, and then quit while I was ahead.
I went out to Arapiles a couple of years ago when I was at Halls Gap for a painting workshop...you climb that?! WOW...I know there are many different grades of climbs, but they all looked daunting to me
Enjoy...the climb, the camera, the wine!
Hill of Grace...used to be very nice indeed too. Golly we are lucky here.

How sad about the K-1 screen. Condolences. Any idea how long before you get a replacement?
Booroomba is still a great place, and yes, K-5 is still a great camera.

How long before you open one, or are they strictly investment?
I shared my last bottle in 1992 with abseiling friends after a wonderful day at Borumba Rocks. Unforgettable day with unforgettable friends and then home to an unforgettable wine and pretty good meal.
Now you also have an unforgettable camera.:cool:
