Thanks Kain for the input on firmware update. I installed version 1.03 on my K-01 and noticed much faster auto focus. Even better was focusing with low light and with
lower contrast. A lot less 'hunting'. Interesting I couldn't get the necessary .bin file from Pentax USA site. Had to go to Pentax Japan and all was well. Recommend that
anyone with a K-01 install this firmware update. Thanks again.

Just got my K-01 for days ago and I'm going through the settings and features. This is an amazing camera. What an upgrade from my K-100D Super. Really looking
forward to using the video. Noticed that there is a firmware update from Pentax that addresses focusing issues. Is it really necessary to install this?
