Thank you all for your inputs. I will take further look at cropping some off the bottom. just doing a visual, hiding part of the bottom with my hand on the screen, showed me a better composition. Thanks. I amazes me what can be seen by new eyes on a photo. I never visualized the wave until you mentioned it, then more possibilities arose. Standing over this dry pond I was so attracted to the texture and the contrasting differences, action vs. stable, fiberous vs. solid, direction and opposition. It was fun to capture and I am glad it came across as pleasing.

Shot this one also in Copper Basin in the same place as previous. Played with it a bit. Would appreciate your thoughts.
