Hi is that as sharp as the DA300 should be? about to return mine as it seems to miss focus accuracy,so wonder what it should be capable of.You can see my last thread or here https://www.dropbox.com/sh/iwqulgedfwjmep3/5ngAqCl_6D for some examples I think could be better or?

Thanks...I think I need a grip to stabilize it more.as the K5 is smaller than the Oly gear I used to use...but I want max sharpness if possible for the birds/animals...but from what I see the lens really rocks!! with IQ also will get the Pentax AF1.7 in a few days so I can get the buzzards around here(I hope)..

Hi just got a DA*300 today, and a K5II last week so starting on the Pentax journey...
any tips for the DA300? min shutter speed needed with SR on? its a heavy lens and plan to handhold for alot of works(birds,deer,..)
is the 3rd party grip worth buying? if they get wet will they short out the camera,as they duplicate many buttons..that's my main worry...
usually shoot RAW+JPEG so WB no big deal, tried a few today with AFC and exposure was way off?? birds against the sky--any ideas.
will post as soon as I get something good..
Thanks people...
