I like the Meyer lenses just because they look sooo FREAKIN' COOL !! Go to an event and take a spot next to a Canikonian and bust out the 10 or 14 bladed, polished Meyer-Monster. Consider it carefully & work the aperture blades, then put it back in favor of the Limited prime.

The bokeh is astonishingly wierd.... Like you, I can't say I'm a fan of that.
