I have what I believe to be a 8 Element Super Takumar 50mm 1.4 . It's serial number is 14214xx, it has A M instead of Auto Man, the rear element protrudes prominently at infinity, the focus and aperture rings are silky smooth.

The only thing that gives me pause is the orange hash mark is to the left of the 4. Does that disqualify this as an 8 element?
