Berry Pomeroy Castle. Britain's most haunted, if you believe in such things. Which of course I don't. After all, I'm sure there must be a natural explanation for the footsteps that I could hear behind me as I was wondering around on my own while the rest of the family had gone for a coffee.

Had a sunny walk over Gibbett Hill to Wheal Betsy this afternoon. Yes, the chimney really does bend like that. And yes, Gibbett Hill really was where they left executed bodies hanging to rot once upon a time.

Thanks and sorry about the ferns. I really dislike the ultra-clean modern style, so I always try to put "imperfections" into my snaps either by using cheap old gear or by including deliberate "errors". Often both.:)
