Those are gorgeous cars, and I think that the Lomo 100 suits them very well. I might end up using Lomo films more often, seeing the results in this thread. (And it's cheap lol)

Good shot. ...I need to find myself a working Zorki. My Zorki 4's shutter broke :\

It's amazing just how much detail can be captured on film! Neat shots!

A very pretty shot, Lenscap. I like the variation in the clouds and the composition.

Another senior portrait shoot. I wasn't too happy with this one. I couldn't stop down the lens because I needed the light, (and at below freezing, it was too cold to set up flash) so focus in most shots of the roll was off (this one was one of the best but...)
And, I've been having chemical issues, and so this shot has an odd color shift (blue in the dark areas?)

Ultimately, I reshot yesterday on digital, still not sure of my C-41 chems.

Wow. I REALLY like the way that 75mm rendered that scene. Good shot, and good subject.

Ah. A neat little camera... I've got one of those on my wishlist. And shipping always seems stressful, even when you've got tracking... Especially when the tracking is marked "delivered" and the post/mail box is empty... (I've had THAT happen before...) But, if my experience with the Russian, Ukrainian, and Bulgarian postal systems (the only places I've seen Russian/USSR gear sold from) are any indication, it should arrive alright. :)

Swift1, neat shot from your daughter!
EJMzagsfan, I like that last shot! And which rangefinder did you get? I've got a Zorki 4 that I like in a weird way, but it needs a bit of TLC at this point... :hmm:
I've been playing with the v700... Here's a shot I took on redscale film. I like it in a "I'm-not-sure-about-it" kinda way.

I explained the issue to my mum (the wedding planner xD) and she decided she'd figure the money out and ordered a v700 this morning.

I can't wait til it arrives.

I'm already processing my own (non critical) film projects at home, so it's a serious consideration, assuming I can figure out the funding....

Speaking of labs, I just finally had an issue with my lab of choice... I just realised, printing at my desired size, that the Darkroom scanned these rolls of my sister's wedding at the lowest resolution rather than the "enhanced" scan resolution... Hmm...

Now do I ship it out, braving the world of shipping hassles again (I don't trust the postal service and the other couriers...) and have them rescan, or do I just go ahead and order a scanner to save shipping the negatives back and forth constantly?
...
Anyway, another shot that shows why I love Portra. Nasty green fluorescent lights, but still lovely skin tones.

Just got the film back from my sister's wedding. I got an unexpectedly good, mostly unposed shot of my brother shortly before the ceremony. (He likes to dress up and likes to be photographed when he does, so I shot him)

I'll post more after I sort through a bit.

LF Lee, if you don't mind me asking, how far over do you expose your film?

And stop tempting me to buy a 67!

Yup. The lack of grain from medium format doesn't fit in with the "film look" people are used to from 35mm and smaller consumer formats.

Every shot I see you post from your 67 is beautiful... Makes me tempted to pick up one...

...And I was going to upload some scans of my film I'd developed myself, but it would appear that my $2.50 garage sale scanner (Epson 2400) has died.... Time to save up for a v600/700...

Anything's fair game, so long as it's film. Currently, I've been on a Mamiya 645 kick... Speaking of which...

Dramatic Mamiya 645 test xD
by Duncan McAfee, on Flickr
This test of the 645 when I got it is a strangely dramatic looking (IMO) shot of my most common test subject  (shot on Provia 100F)

With any luck, soon I'll have quite a bit to choose from to post, as I'm going to try home processing and scanning to get rid of my backlog of... 26 (or so?) rolls. :)

Some shots from a recent senior photo shoot of my girlfriend for practice. All shot on Portra 160 @100 with the Mamiya 645 Pro TL and either the 80mm/2.8 or the 150mm/3.5

This is the one I'm most unsure of. I like the composition, but the lighting seems off. (And of course, last frame of the roll and my Polaroid back was jammed, so no second take)
I had the flash directly opposite the sun for this one. I think moving my fill flash around a bit more in front of her and boosting its power a stop while dropping the ambient a stop would have helped (though the 1/60th sync of the Mamiya didn't help with the ambient...)
I also ran into issues snaking the cable up and around the treehouse to do it! (Note: buy radio triggers)

Any feedback would be appreciated!

A couple of my favorite shots from my sister's dress fitting, shot on a Mamiya 645 Pro TL and 80mm/2.8 on Kodak Portra 160 (loving the skin tones!) with bounced flash from a Sunpak 622 (That's a HEAVY combo! After this shoot, I decided to get an Op/Tech dual harness to take that load off of my neck, and it seems to work nicely.)

And any thoughts/feedback would be appreciated, as I'm still new to medium format.

In addition to the places Swift1 stated, I've found the film Photography Project to be a really good place to get film as well.

Just got the first few rolls of film back from The Darkroom.
So far, even with the low-res scans, I'm VERY impressed with film.
The color shots were Lomography Color 100 and the B&W was Kodak BW400CN. All shots were taken with the Super Program and K 55mm f/1.8
The red blossoms were shot in a bit of wind, in dying light, so I had to keep the aperture stopped down a bit for DOF (Strong wind here, it kept moving the branch) and the shutter speed needed to be slower for the light. It wasn't what I was going for, but I like that it, to my eyes at least, looks kinda dreamy?
