If it says made in USA on the package it's rebatched Kodak, if it says made in japan it's rebatchen Fuji. In both cases, it's probably the cheapest film they make...
Over here, DM and Rossmann sell "Agfaphoto CT Precisa 100", that seems to be rebatched Fuji Provia 100F. It may be surplus stock or batches that failed the QC for Provia.

Well done!
DM Paradies is rebatched Kodak film (afaik it's the same stuff that Kodak sells as "Kodak Farbwelt" in Germany), did you really pay 2€ a roll?
Those are sold for under 1€ by DM in Germany.

Yes, BW400CN is very contrasty at ISO50 but I also increased the contrast in Lightroom, I normally shoot it at ISO200.
You can vary the amount of contrast with ISOs between 50 and 800 but I wouldn't recommend shooting at ISO800, it get's rather grainy...
Here's the unedited shot:
It was shot at f/1.2, the Tomioka's contrast is quite low wide open.
BW400CN can be way too contrasty at ISO50: |
