Another few shots of the shaggy mane mushroom. They literally melt away once they've released their spores. You can see the edge of the cap curling up and liquefying in the first shot. In the second one you can see the pool of goo that the bottom part of the cap has become. |

Another macro shot with the K-01. Looking up the stalk and into the inside of the cap of a shaggy mane mushroom. |

Since my k5ii is in the shop for who knows how long, I'm shooting the K-01 exclusively. Here's some macro of salt I did for a local camera club challenge. The theme was "Things that start with the letter S". Both were shot with my 55mm Super Tak reverse mounted on my 105mm Super Tak. |

It's a part of the radar dish looking thing on the moon buggy. The room that it's in is quite dark. I find it pretty hard to get interesting shots of large objects like that, especially in such cramped and busy quarters. So I went for super close ups of interesting shapes.
Glad you enjoyed it :-)

We went to the Museum of Flight in Seattle yesterday. This was my favorite shot.
This was my first opportunity to shoot with my K-01 for an extended amount of time. I barely noticed I was carrying it and it performed great in some really low light situations. Such a fun little camera.
