That black and white street car shot is great. At first glance it doesn't look like a long exposure image.

Time to clean the scanner. I'm pretty sure the streaking is from dust on the underside of the glass in the scanner calibration area.

I need to be more careful judging level while shooting handheld with my 645 - I had a couple of shots that were off ~2.5 degrees. Generally the framing was loose enough that I didn't lose anything important.

I don't know about an entire mini lab but on paper some of the scanners that go with the labs look interesting. The ability to automatically scan an entire roll of 35mm or 120 film at high speed and high resolution with ICE would be nice, but I have some serious concerns about software availability/hardware compatibility and support seeing as the machines were never intended for sale to the general public. I've seen a few supposedly complete labs advertised in the $1000 to $1500 range, which is less than a Nikon 9000 scanner.

Makten, nice results from your home C-41 development. Are you going to continue developing your own colour film? I still have access to several places that develop C-41 so I'm happy to let others do the work for now.

@ Tuco - I have been very happy with with my 645 at night. My tripod is a little short for me but it seems to be a good weight to handle the camera. Makes me wonder if I should have picked up the cheap 6 foot surveying tripod I ran into last year.
@ Spare Tire - I do like night traffic shots. I remember there was a period where it seemed like every National Geographic issue had at least one long exposure night cityscape showing traffic patterns.

That Medalist looks to perform quite well. It is too bad that you'll have to respool film every time you want to use it.

@Thomas - That's quite the crop, I had to look a second time before I noticed the RV in the original.

Borrowed a Pentax 645 to give it a try. The lab's scan were pretty bad so I'm redoing them myself.
