Yep! So I guess you did the Ring of Kerry. I've no shots from Killorglin itself but here's somewhere you may have visited.

I've reprocessed this using a PP technique that attempts to get a certain film look. I'm quite happy with it so far, but I always change my mind about such thing!

I don't think I posted this photo since I fixed it up for printing. It now resides in our bedroom. Shot just down the road, past the tracks, then take a left and go down the canal path. Stop when you see the horse.

We were disappointed at first that we had no money to travel for our holidays this year. But then we considered that a couple of days in the hills of our own country would be as fine as any more distant journey we might take. And we were correct.

Thank you both. It's a lot I have walked past a thousand times. Just recently it's been cleared enough for me to see the VW rotting inside. Protected by a fence and two mad dogs, or I'd chance getting closer. In any case I will try to get a sharper image soon.
